Learn to use the ropes wall as a tool to feel safely supported by traction in order to strengthen your spine, expand your movements, and anchor your yoga poses. Experience greater alignment and opening in your standing poses, back bends and forward bends as well intelligently easing into inversions.

Learn the basics and principle rules of safety when practicing with ropes and slings. This series will help you to progress into regular classes on the Ropes and Slings by building hand strength, awareness of alignment and anatomy, muscles used and activated and how to modify poses.
Lily has been certified through Alison West, considered one of the most influential yoga teachers, in New York at Yoga Union. Lily is grateful and honored to share her knowledge with the students at Tula. This beginner series will be offered regularly and will be a requirement before attending any regular Ropes and Slings classes on the schedule.
Lily will feature creative rope work that will:
Create spinal traction.
Stretch and strengthen most of your muscles.
Tone your abdominal muscles.
Deepen your understanding of forward bends and back bends.
Allow you to safely invert.
This series is for four weeks and begins Sept 5th, Tuesday nights, from 7pm-8:15 PM Cost is $100. No Drop-Ins. Maximum of 10 people per session. Register early to reserve your spot!
