We are so happy to welcome you to TULA and hope that you will enjoy the sauna after your classes!

Infrared saunas use heat and light to help relax and rejuvenate your body. The sauna omits infrared light waves - that reach your skin, heating your body but not the air around you, creating the most enjoyable warm environment. For thousands of years, 'hot air boxes' and sweat lodges have been used to decrease stress, increase relaxation, and detoxify the body.

Improves Heart Function: helps to normalize blood pressure and cholesterol levels, improving overall heart health.

Helps Lower Chronic Pain (including Arthritis): helping to decrease symptoms of pain and stiffness, resulting in less pain.

Lowers Side Effects of Diabetes: improves quality of life for those with Type II diabetes.

Overall Quality of Life: studies show the infrared sauna helps with depression and anger issues, helps with sleep, exercise rehabilitation.

If you would like to use the sauna after class, please let your instructor know before class starts to ensure it's nice + hot after class.

We recommend that you use the sauna after you attend class starting with 8-10 minutes for your first month of regular use. After you become acclimated to the sauna, you can increase your time by a few minutes.

The temperature of the sauna should be set between 125-145 degrees.

We ask that you use a towel to sit on. You are welcome to wear your work out clothes or a bathing suit.

Be sure to drink lots of water after you sauna. You have sweat a great deal and released lots of toxins, so be sure to rehydrate!
