Aerial Yoga simply uses the aerial hammock as a prop to enhance and support your yoga practice.
This 90-minute workshop will give you the opportunity to experience traditional yoga poses with the support of an aerial hammock, while taking the time to properly understand the postures, the cues, and how the hammock works with your body.
You will learn the foundation poses needed for Tula Aerial & Decompression classes. No experience is necessary and all are welcome!
The hammock is an amazing tool you can use for balance or getting into postures you may never have thought you could.
Aerial yoga helps to improves flexibility, moving freely, with less effort, by counteracting gravity. Suspension in the air releases tension on the bones and muscles, increasing flexibility and deepening your practice. Suspended yoga strengthens core muscles and increases spinal and shoulder flexibility.
