Healthy Hips + Lumbar Spine in your Barre Class

Why do we tuck? Should we allow the pelvis to move when we twist? What is the role of the psoas
muscle? Why do my hips ‘pop?’ Join Elizabeth April in this two-hour workshop as we explore and
discover healthy positioning of the pelvis and in return healthy positioning of the lumbar spine as we
move through and/or teach our favorite barre classes.
As barre classes gain more popularity and regularity in people’s schedule, it is important to always be
